Users connecting to the Microsoft Connect site, the repository of beta programs replacing the old Betaplace, and checking available programs will see a new beta available for enrollment since end of March: Virtual Machine Additions for Linux.
As reported:
Virtual Machine Additions for Linux can be installed in qualified Linux operating systems when running as guests in Virtual Server 2005 R2.Supported operating systems actually are:
- Novell’s SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9
- Novell’s SuSE Linux 9.2
- Novell’s SuSE Linux 9.3
- Novell’s SuSE Linux 10.0
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 (update 6)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 (update 6)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
- Red Hat Linux 7.3
- Red Hat Linux 9.0
